No Coast Sushi GIVE BACK to SIX Local Charities

Goose Liver Inc., The House, Mesa Land Trust,

Grand Valley Zoological Quest, Roice-Hurst Humane Society and

The Steven Davies Memorial Fund

GRAND JUNCTION- Elizabeth and Christopher Boyd, owners of No Coast Sushi, met with the SIX LOCAL charities last night at 5:30pm, Monday July 8, 2013 at No Coast Sushi, giving them each a check for $300.

In honor of No Coast Sushi’s 6th year Anniversary (June 18th), the Boyd’s wanted to give back to the community that has made them successful. So with six designated nights in June, 10% of sales designated to go to local charities.

To make more of an impact, we received help from our community on who they thought the donations should go to. Having the community help select on Facebook and in-house votes helped with the selected SIX LOCAL CHARITIES that received a check in-hand and a TBD date in the fall for a benefit night just for them!

No Coast Sushi has helped with many local non-profits and their events including: Colorado Discover Ability, Western Slope Girl Scouts, March of Dimes and Avalon Project to name just a few.

No Coast Sushi is a contemporary Japanese restaurant that serves traditional Japanese cuisine, modern fusion dishes and premium drinks in a lively and personable atmosphere. Our Japanese food is made by chefs who love food & art. We care about our environment and community so we buy sustainable seafood when possible as well as local produce when in season and hormone antibiotic free beef, pork & chicken. Because we want everyone to feel good when they dine with us, we also have many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well.
